Weekend with Lazy Tackers

A weekend aboard Egeria, where strangers become a crew, days are shaped by the wind, and every experience is shared.

3 nights · 4 days
Choose between a Saturday–Tuesday or Wednesday–Saturday departure.

01

Saturday / Wednesday — Arrival at 19:00 & settling in

We invite you to make the most of your arrival day. Spend the afternoon swimming in the crystal-clear bays around Šimuni, explore the historic town of Pag, or simply unwind and embrace the island atmosphere before your sailing adventure begins. At 19:00, we'll meet at Marina Šimuni, where you'll settle into your cabin, meet your skipper and fellow crew members, and begin your journey at sea with a relaxed first dinner together.

02

Sunday / Thursday – Set sail

After 09:00, we prepare to leave the marina. Safety briefing, weather planning and your first sail. You’ll experience the rhythm of life onboard, work together as a crew, and discover how sailing really feels.

03

Monday / Friday – Live by the wind

Every day is different: sail together between hidden bays, authentic island villages, and almost uninhabited islands. Take the helm, trim the sails, and experience what it means to be part of a crew. Whether you are stepping aboard for the first time or already know the sea, the experience adapts to your level. Spend one night moored to a quiet buoy in a secluded bay, and another exploring the atmosphere of a vibrant coastal town or a charming fishing village. There is a balance of peaceful nature and authentic local life—something for everyone. Swim in crystal-clear waters, share meals and stories, anchor beneath the stars, and reconnect with nature.

04

Tuesday / Saturday - Returning as a crew

The final day always arrives too soon. That's why we've designed the weekend to make the most of every moment. As we sail back towards Marina Šimuni, there's time for one last swim in the turquoise waters of Maun, a relaxed sail home, and a chance to soak up the final hours together. We return to the marina around 17:00, leave the boat at 18:00, and spend one last moment together in the cockpit, sharing our favourite stories and making plans for the next adventure before saying our goodbyes. By then, you're no longer just a guest—you've become part of the crew. Welcome to the Lazy Tacker Crew.

No fixed itinerary. No rushing.

Where we begin

A small marina on Pag. A quieter start.

Our journey begins in Šimuni, a small fishing village on the island of Pag and home to our charming ACI Marina. Away from crowded charter hubs, Šimuni offers a peaceful and authentic start to your week at sea — with a relaxed atmosphere, local taverns, fresh seafood and the famous Pag cheese just around the corner.

Conveniently located just one hour from Zadar Airport, with excellent flight connections, and around three hours by car from Zagreb, Šimuni is the perfect starting point for your Adriatic adventure.

From here, we are ideally positioned to explore some of the Adriatic’s most beautiful sailing areas — the Lošinj Archipelago, Dugi Otok and the Kornati Islands.

Hi, I'm Gregor

Hi, I'm Gregor

The founder and skipper behind Lazy Tackers.

Over the years, I have combined cruising, offshore sailing, and competitive racing. I have had the privilege of taking part in some of the world’s most respected offshore events and sailing with some of Slovenia’s most successful racing teams.

Yet the greatest lessons I have learned never came from trophies or finish lines. They came from long passages, quiet night watches, unexpected weather, teamwork, and countless moments when the sea reminds us that patience, preparation, and humility matter far more than speed.

Lazy Tackers was born from the desire to share these experiences — not just to teach people how to sail, but to help them discover what it truly feels like to become part of a crew.

After decades on the water, I still believe the most valuable moments are not measured in miles or results, but in the connections, stories, and memories created with people at sea.

"Crossing the Kvarner the day after a storm-force easterly was both a challenge and something deeply beautiful. With big waves, wind, and the helm fully trusted to me, I felt safe, present, and alive.

It brought back feelings from my childhood pure joy, trust, and connection with the sea. Some experiences stay with you forever. This was one of them."
