Over the years, I have sailed thousands of nautical miles across the Adriatic, Mediterranean and Atlantic, both cruising and racing.
I have had the privilege of being part of exceptional sailing teams. Together, we competed in some of the world's most respected offshore races, such as the Rolex Middle Sea Race and the RORC Caribbean 600.
Racing taught me precision, preparation and the value of teamwork under pressure.
Cruising taught me something equally important: how to understand the needs of new sailors, create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere on board, and turn every journey into an enjoyable experience.
Today, both worlds shape the way I sail and the way I host people aboard Lazy Tackers. My goal isn't just to teach sailing—it's to help every guest feel confident, involved and truly at home at sea.

More About the Skipper
I've been sailing since 1989. What began as childhood curiosity gradually became a lifelong passion that has taken me across the Adriatic, throughout the Mediterranean and into the Atlantic Ocean.
Over the years, I've combined cruising, offshore passages and competitive racing. I've had the privilege of competing in some of the world's most respected offshore events, including the RORC Caribbean 600 and the Rolex Middle Sea Race, and I continue to race on TP52 yacht.
Yet the greatest lessons I've learned have never come from trophies or finish lines.
They came from long passages, quiet night watches, unexpected weather, teamwork and the countless moments when the sea reminds us that patience, preparation and humility matter far more than speed.
Lazy Tackers was born from the desire to share those experiences with others.
Not by creating another sailing school or luxury charter, but by building a place where people can experience authentic life at sea. A place where guests become crew, where learning happens naturally, and where every person is encouraged to discover both sailing and themselves.
To make that vision possible, I chose Egeria, our Beneteau First 45. She is a yacht that rewards good sailing, teamwork and curiosity—qualities that perfectly reflect the philosophy behind Lazy Tackers.
My goal is simple.
